Today I want to share this exquisite recipe for a traditional Chilean sandwich that you're going to love. Chilean, not Italian? Well, in the southern country they call it “Italian” because the ingredients reflect the colors of the Italian flag.
It's super easy to prepare, and best of all—it only takes 10 minutes to make and enjoy.
Here’s what you’ll need to savor this delicious sandwich:
-
Lalena’s Food Shredded Beef
-
Brioche Bun
-
1 Avocado
-
1 Tomato
-
Mayonnaise
-
½ Lemon
-
Olive Oil
-
Salt and Pepper
To prepare this sandwich:
Start by heating the shredded beef for about 3 minutes (depending on your microwave’s power, increase by 30-second intervals as needed).
In a bowl, mash the avocado with a splash of olive oil, the juice of half a lemon, and salt and pepper to taste. Use a fork to mash it into a spreadable consistency (a hand blender works too).
Next, slice the tomato and open up your brioche bun—you can toast it for a few seconds on a grill or pan if you’d like.
To assemble: layer the shredded beef inside the bun, add the tomato slices, and top with the avocado spread. Finish with mayonnaise to taste and the top of the bun. That’s it—time to enjoy this simple yet flavorful delight!
